The 1064nm Nd:YAG laser with a 650- microsecond pulse duration is safe for all skin types and is more tolerable then conventional long-pulsed Nd:YAG lasers. We aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser with a 650-microsecond pulse duration for the treatment of melasma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Study Design\/Materials and Method: Patients were treated with the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser with a 650-microsecond pulse duration. The energy mode ranged from 3 to 4, which corresponds to a fluence of 11 to 14 J\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> with a 6mm spot size, and 3 passes were performed per treatment session.
