Systemische Therapien umfassen Immuninhibitoren, Immunmodulatoren und bei mittelschweren bis schweren Erkrankungen biologische Wirkstoffe.<sup>1 <\/sup>Topische Behandlungen umfassen in erster Linie bei leichter bis mittelschwerer Psoriasis Salben, medizinische B\u00e4der mit Diastase oder Kr\u00e4uterextrakten und Phototherapie. Die Phototherapie ist sicher, wirksam und verursacht nicht die f\u00fcr systemische Medikamente \u00fcblichen Nebenwirkungen.<sup>2<\/sup> Der 308-nm-Excimer-Laser gilt als First-Line-Phototherapie bei topischer Plaque-Psoriasis.<sup>2<\/sup> Die Wirksamkeit und Sicherheit dieses Lasers wurde zur Behandlung von Psoriasis ausf\u00fchrlich untersucht.<sup>3\u20139 <\/sup>Der Vorteil des Excimer-Lasers ist seine F\u00e4higkeit, psoriatische L\u00e4sionen mit hohen Dosen monochromatischer Strahlung zu behandeln und gleichzeitig die nicht betroffene Haut zu schonen.<sup>2<\/sup> Zur Optimierung der Behandlung wurden drei Protokolle entwickelt: die minimale Erythemdosis, die Induration und die minimale Blasenbildungsdosis.<sup>7<\/sup> Im Jahr 2009 wurde von Khatri und Kollegen ein neuartiger Nd: YAG-Laser mit einer Pulsdauer von 650\u00a0\u03bcs und einer Wellenl\u00e4nge von 1064\u00a0nm zur Entfernung unerw\u00fcnschter Haare eingef\u00fchrt.<sup>10 <\/sup>Seitdem haben andere Wissenschaftler<sup>11, 12 <\/sup>den 650-\u03bcs-Laser verwendet, um dunkle Haut, Onychomykose,<sup>13<\/sup> Teleangiektasien im Gesicht<sup>14<\/sup> und Akne zu behandeln.<sup>15<\/sup> Der Vorteil des 650-\u03bcs-Lasers besteht darin, dass die Behandlung keine K\u00fchlung oder An\u00e4sthesie erfordert, da die Pulsdauer k\u00fcrzer oder gleich der thermischen Relaxationszeit des therapeutischen Ziels ist. Diese Funktion minimiert Narbenbildung, Pigmentver\u00e4nderungen, thermische Sch\u00e4den des umliegenden Gewebes und Beschwerden w\u00e4hrend oder nach der Behandlung.<sup>15<\/sup> Der 650-\u03bcs-Laser hat die FDA-Zulassung f\u00fcr die Behandlung von Psoriasis erhalten. Das Hauptziel dieser Studie war es, die F\u00e4higkeit des Nd:YAG-Lasers mit einer Pulsdauer von 650\u00a0\u03bcs und einer Wellenl\u00e4nge von 1064\u00a0nm (LightPod Neo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, Aerolase Corp., Tarrytown, NY), Psoriasis-Plaques zu entfernen, mit der des 308-nm-Excimer-Lasers (XTRAC Velocity 400<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, PhotoMedex, Inc., Montgomeryville, PA) zu vergleichen.
