Es wurde klinisch nachgewiesen, dass 1064-nm-Laserenergie die Bildung von neuem Kollagen in der Dermis der Haut stimuliert. Es wird auch angenommen, dass die von einem 1064-nm-Laser erzeugte W\u00e4rme die bakterielle Zerst\u00f6rung, die Stickoxidproduktion und die Wundheilungskaskade stimuliert. Ein Patient mit Geschw\u00fcren an den distalen Bereichen der F\u00fc\u00dfe wurde mit dem betreffenden Laser behandelt. Er sprach schnell auf die Behandlung an. Der Patient berichtete von keinerlei Behandlungsbeschwerden. Beide Geschw\u00fcre waren in kurzer Zeit vollst\u00e4ndig reepithelisiert (siehe zus\u00e4tzliche Daten unten). Die Patientenzufriedenheit war sehr hoch.
